R.I.P Daisy

Daisy, the beautiful and gorgeous albino burmese python from House of Reptiles has now passed away. In their newsletter that I just read, they revealed that Daisy's tail had begun to discolor and when they brought her to the vet it had been discovered that a bacterial infection had spread all the way to her heart.

The first time I walked into House of Reptiles, I had turned the corner and literally jumped back with surprise at seeing such a huge snake. To be honest, the thought of a snake that big scared me shitless. However, each time I came to the store, I got used to stopping by her enclosure and staring at her. I'll always admire her because she was the perfect example of how beautiful and calm large snakes can be.

Now, I'll miss stopping by her cage and seeing her beautiful yellow and white colors, with those pretty eyes.

Rest in peace Daisy, you definitely impacted a lot of House of Reptiles customers. ;) I'll be the first to admit that you certainly changed my view of large snakes.

Aww... Another name to add to the list. Hope she finds lots of friends in the Happy Hunting Grounds.
